How common is it?
Psoriatic arthritis is one of the less common types of arthritis affecting approximately 0.3% of the population. Up to 30% of people with psoriasis will go on to develop psoriatic arthritis.
Typically, people will have psoriasis first before developing psoriatic arthritis. However, in about 15% of cases, people will develop arthritis first.
